The FLL Challenge Skills Lab is a non-competitive, hands-on robotics program for students who want to build strong technical and teamwork skills for future FIRST LEGO League Challenge seasons. This lab focuses on robot design, coding, and mission strategy. Students work with experienced coaches and peers in a structured, skill-focused environment designed to strengthen confidence and performance.

This program supports both new and returning FLL Challenge students who want targeted practice outside the pressure of the official competition season.

What Students Will Work On

  • Robot Design & Engineering: Students build and improve robots using LEGO SPIKE Prime. Sessions focus on strong builds, attachments, and mechanical problem-solving.
  • Coding & Automation: Students write and test code for movement, sensors, and mission accuracy. Emphasis stays on clean logic, testing, and iteration.
  • Mission Strategy & Efficiency: Students practice breaking down missions, planning routes, and managing time on the field.
  • Competition Skills Practice: Students rehearse real competition workflows such as setup, resets, teamwork, and run strategy through guided simulations.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Students practice shared roles, respectful problem solving, and group decision making, all essential for FLL success.

If a class is canceled by Odin Wise Academy due to weather, facility closure, or coach emergency, a make-up class will be scheduled. Make-up classes apply only to sessions canceled by Odin Wise Academy.

Enrollment & Billing Policy

  • Open Enrollment: Families may enroll at any point if space is available.
  • Mid-Program Start: Tuition is prorated from the first attended class.
  • Monthly Billing: Tuition is billed monthly. To cancel, email at least 3 weeks before the next billing cycle.
  • Transfers: Transfers to another location are available if space is available.
  • No Refunds: Payments are non-refundable once processed.
  • Odin Wise Cancellations: If a class is canceled and no make-up date is offered, a refund is issued for the canceled session.

Non-Resident Fee (You must select this if you are not a Brambleton Resident) $25.00
Deposit $225.00

Restrictions

Participants must be 6 years and 11 months to 10 years old when the program starts.

Registration period

Registration starts on 01/16/2026 and ends on 04/28/2026.

Participants may register at any time during this period.
