🎮 Game Design and Coding

This program introduces students to the fundamentals of digital creation through hands-on game design and beginner coding. Students learn how to navigate a computer, explore a visual coding workspace, and bring ideas to life using block-based programming. Classes will guide students through designing characters, building game worlds, and coding interactions as they create their own playable games from start to finish. 

Through creative challenges and guided projects, kids develop logic, confidence, and a strong foundation in computational thinking while turning ideas into interactive experiences.

• Creative Game Design: Students design characters, scenes, and storylines while shaping how their games look and feel.
• Block-Based Coding: Students use visual coding blocks to control movement, actions, scoring, and game rules.
• Computer Foundations: Students practice basic navigation, mouse control, and digital organization skills.
• Problem Solving in Action: Students test their games, debug errors, and improve how their projects work.
• Independent and Guided Builds: Each child builds their own project while receiving step-by-step support from instructors.
• Confidence With Technology: Projects build persistence, logical thinking, and comfort using technology as a creative tool.

Make-Up Class Dates: March 5th, 2026

If a class is canceled by Odin Wise Academy due to weather, facility closure, coach emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will hold make-up classes. Make-up classes are offered only if the session is canceled by Odin Wise Academy.

• Open Enrollment: Families can sign up at any time. Each class is a stand-alone session, so there’s no long-term commitment.

• Mid‑Program Start: Joining mid-program? Payments are prorated from your first class, so your child won’t miss out.

• Monthly Billing: Tuition is billed monthly. To cancel, please email us at least 3 weeks before your next billing cycle.

• Transfers: If your child moves to another school mid‑program, free transfers are available if space permits.

• No Refunds: Once a payment is made, it is non‑refundable.

• Odin Wise Cancellations: If we cancel a class and no make‑up date is scheduled, you will receive a full refund for the canceled session(s).
