Description
🧱 LEGO Builders Camp
A guided play and early engineering program where children explore building, storytelling, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks. Each session is designed to align with school themes and encourage exploration of basic STEM ideas through creative construction and teamwork.
Topics we explore include:
- Simple Machines – levers, pulleys, ramps, and gears
- Structure & Stability – what makes buildings strong or weak
- Patterns & Symmetry – building repeating designs and mirrored structures
- Community & Environment – creating themed scenes like cities, oceans, or outer space
- Measurement & Spatial Awareness – understanding height, width, and balance
- Cause & Effect – testing how design changes affect movement or stability
Skills students develop:
- Early engineering and design thinking
- Fine motor coordination and hand-eye control
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Vocabulary around STEM and building concepts
- Creative storytelling through building
- Following multi-step directions
- Problem-solving through trial and error
Each class encourages children to think like young engineers—imagining, building, testing, and proudly sharing their creations.
