🎨 Creative Science Lab: Art Meets Experimentation
A playful, hands-on program where children explore real-world science concepts through creative art projects. Each session is built around a scientific principle and encourages discovery through building, painting, sculpting, and experimenting.
Topics we explore include:
- Center of Mass & Balance – through balancing sculptures and mobiles
- Magnetism – with magnetic painting and simple force experiments
- Light Refraction & Chromatography – using rainbows, filters, and watercolor diffusions
- Heart Anatomy – through yarn-based models of arteries and veins
- Buoyancy – with jellyfish crafts and floating-sinking experiments
- Force & Motion – using balloon-powered vehicles and simple ramps
- Color Mixing & Chemical Reactions – through paint-based fizzing experiments
Skills students develop:
- Observation and prediction
- Fine motor coordination
- Creative thinking and self-expression
- Introductory science vocabulary and inquiry
