FLL Challenge Masters
🤖 Program Overview
Designed for returning FLL participants or students with prior robotics experience, FLL Challenge Masters takes competition preparation to the next level. This advanced program is ideal for students who are ready for a deeper dive into engineering, coding, and innovation.
Students will work in focused, mentor-led teams to build complex LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robots, fine-tune advanced attachments, and design competitive strategies for real-world challenges. We’ll also introduce Python-based programming and sharpen Innovation Project research and presentation skills.
This program is built for more experienced and committed students — students may be asked to take a basic qualification test, and all must be comfortable with Algebra 1 or above.

❓FAQs
What if my child misses a class?

Is travel required?
Yes — most teams will need to travel to their regional and possibly state tournament. Travel is within VA and organized by Odin Wise.
Do we pay extra if our team qualifies for States or Worlds?
Yes. This tuition covers the regular season up to regionals. Additional fees apply for extended training and travel.
How many students are on a team?
Typically 4–8 students per team with one dedicated coach.
When will we know the exact dates of the competition?
TBD — competition organizers announce dates closer to the event. We'll notify families as soon as we receive them.
What does my child need to bring to class?
Just a water bottle and a light snack if needed — please note we are a nut-free program, so all snacks must be nut-free to ensure the safety and comfort of all students.
Does my child need prior experience?
Yes — students should be familiar with basic robotics and must be comfortable with Algebra 1-level math. A basic qualification test may be required.
