Program Overview
Our FTC Challenge program is designed to immerse students in grades 7-12 in the exciting world of competitive robotics. Participants will learn to think like engineers as they design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. The program goes beyond robotics, fostering essential STEM skills and engineering principles, and encouraging innovation, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving. Winning competitions is a prominent goal of our program, and we aim to provide students with the tools and mentorship needed to succeed.
Guided by experienced coaches who have both competed and coached championship teams, students will have access to the best resources and mentorship needed to excel and win in competitions.
What to Expect
Engineering Design & Build: Students will design and build robots using a reusable platform powered by Android technology. They will apply advanced engineering concepts to create functional and competitive robots.
Java-Based Programming: The robots can be coded using various levels of Java-based programming, allowing students to learn and apply real-world coding skills.
Team Collaboration: Participants will work in teams of 10 to 15 members, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
Mentorship & Guidance: Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students will develop STEM skills, practice engineering principles, and understand the value of hard work and innovation.
Competition Ready: Our experienced coaches will provide students with the strategies and insights needed to compete successfully in regional, state, and world championship events, ensuring they are fully prepared for all levels of competition.
Career & College Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to design their team brand, connect with industry professionals, and engage in community outreach. They will also be eligible to apply for over $80 million in college scholarships, opening doors to further education and career opportunities.
